Geographical Uncertainty

Where should I go for my Daily Post-sponsored year abroad?

If for a year I moved away
To study anywhere;
I think I’d go to Edoras
It’s always seemed nice there…

So now they tell me that‘s not real.
Well that screwed up my plan –
No matter, I’ll go somewhere else
Just someplace in Rohan

What do you mean “there’s no such place”?
I have it on this map —
This really throws me for a loop.
Must wear my thinking cap…

Okay, fine, then I’ll just stay home.
I guess you all have won:
I’ll stay strong in reality
Right here in
Hobbiton

In response to The Daily Post’s writing prompt: “Study Abroad.”
