And then we sat a bit,
We walked
And then we shopped a while,

We got back to the car, and then
Back home.

I’m grateful we could do it, since
The days such joys are possible
Are numbered. Still, in all,
What’s do-able, must sometimes needs be done,
But, oh,
My aching calves
