Monday Trucks

Come watch the Monday trucks go by

The earth is soaked with morning wet

The web of our connectedness

The Doppler and the silhouette

The tired soul who knows the slog

Of generating fervor

The glimpse into around about

Transfixing the observer

Let go anxiety regret

And conversations you relive

What you cannot undo unsay

You can at least forgive

For all have lives and parts of loves

And hints of truths and bits of lucks

We carry with us hidden in

Both Sunday suits and

Monday

Trucks
