Diatribe: On Hearing the Truth from the Heartwrecker

Just after candle girl tells me she’s engaged to someone else.

But wait, you… you never loved me?

You’re back with your old boyfriend?
Is that what this was all about?

But wait, let me guess. It’s
Because I’m such a gentleman, right?
Easily controlled, more like it.
You used me…

You never cared about me at all

Just a way to have some fun and
Make him jealous

Well it worked, congratulations

What do you mean, you never lied to me?
This whole thing was a lie…

Why did you do this to me?
I loved you

I think the candle’s gone out

It’s like I’m not even here
It’s like I’m not even

A man
