I teach my dog bad habits,
So I won’t be alone;
For drinking’s not a thing
A guy should do here on his own
I teach my dog bad habits,
He doesn’t seem to mind —
For men and dogs, I’ve often heard,
We’re just
Two of a kind

We actually did have a neighbor whose dog enjoyed sharing his beer with him. Happily for the neighbor if not the dog, they did not usually share the it from the same container. 😉
Since I have a fear of dogs (although we have a very old one), and don’t drink (anymore) I wrote this because I loved the photo.
Thank you for the Rara posts. No blogger I’ve ever read had a bigger influence on me, and she’s been in my (our) thoughts here these long months.
She’s had a similar impact on me. She’s sent me a couple of text messages; I’m having to use all my willpower to not bombard her. Just so much love, y’know? There’s time now, though. There’s time. <3
I’ve never spoken to her, but she has one of the most beautiful spirits I’ve ever encountered on a printed page.
It’s the same off the printed page. Around her is a palpable sense that anything and everything is OK. So wrong to keep that in a cage; so right for it–her–to be free now.
