Sunshine Sleeper

Oh, to be a sunshine sleeper;
Slumber, soaking in the rays –
No night fears of crawl-or-creeper
Masterful in my malaise

Tell the daylight “it’s a date”, and
Dress for her in confidence;
Close my eyes, relaxed, unheeding –
Solar powered
Somnolence

Beleaguered Servant

Owen Servant is an online poet working in a style that's been described as "compulsive". In real life, he is an actuary, because being a poet wasn't unpopular enough.
