in just one moment
i can see
the worries that
she’s harbored long
her guard is dropped
her soul is bared
each pain, misjudgment,
and each wrong
she’s borne is there
to watching eyes,
and finally,
i realize
that what seems so
is rarely such,
and slender frames
can carry
much
