Velocity

“Don’t go too fast,” they tell her;
She goes fast anyway;
“Not ladylike,” some murmur.
She lets them have their say.

“She should slow down,” say careful ones,
Over their scones and tea —
But none of them are up to speed,
Or her
Velocity
