Beside the shore, they watched the light
That breached the windwashed sky;
No words were needed there, and neither
Even thought to try
That night he took her to the shore
Was one without compare;
The memory is still as strong
As when her dad was there
For he believed in her, he knew
That she was brave and strong:
At eight years old to wake her up
And let her tag along
So she could see how nature acts
When it has its own way:
A gift he gave her long ago
She treasures to
This day
Fabulous photo!
Thanks — the photo is from dreamstime.com, where I get most of mine.

thank you 🙂
Just so perfect this one.
Reminded me of what my father’s gift were.
To watch the sunset together and go home eating his brilliant gulash.
