Skellig Michael

For humans long at times to flee,
It is part of the cycle —
Apart from all they went to live
Out here on Skellig Michael

They climbed the stairs and cliffs so sheer
To their stone dwellings hollow;
Out off the coast of Ireland
Where few would dare to follow

That I would still not climb those stairs
Should not be any shocker:
To go that high – that far – you’d need
To be a real
Sky walker
