The Road A Lot Less Traveled

Drove down a federal interstate

Turned onto to a state highway

Then onto a county road

Then onto a gravel road

That turned into a dirt road

Then parked my car at the end

Then took a brambled path

And hacked my way through ivy

To find your house

And you weren’t home

  1. Laughed aloud. Next time better to send an email.
The background photo on another of your blogs, – somewhere in the inner hebrides – or possibly the Isle of Skye? Just curious.

      1. Thank you. Scotland is a beautiful country – expansive beaches – rugged terrain – a nature writer’s paradise.
