Drove down a federal interstate
Turned onto to a state highway
Then onto a county road
Then onto a gravel road
That turned into a dirt road
Then parked my car at the end
Then took a brambled path
And hacked my way through ivy
To find your house
And you weren’t home
Laughed aloud. Next time better to send an email.
