views we miss

how many views within these streets
we miss. how many ways to go and
be, that we could yet explore, except
we walk the selfsame tiles every
day. i know there's comfort in
familiar things; but maybe i
should venture down some different
paths, today. just for today. and see
just one, or two, of all the views
i actively choose, or chose, to leave
ignored.

Beleaguered Servant

Owen Servant is an online poet working in a style that's been described as "compulsive". In real life, he is an actuary, because being a poet wasn't unpopular enough.
