Breathing Wide

Breathing wide in country deep
Days on foot and nights in sleep
Pleasures fine and sorrows cheap
Measured in September

Rivers flow and lungs inhale
Autumn grows and thoughts set sail
Come together on the trail
Leading to December

Arms stretched out and hearts inclined
Love and family top of mind
Souls and rivers intertwined
Helping us remember
