because it takes both letting go,
and keeping on, at once.

not dealing with the minutes that
can soon turn into months --
but patience is something we like a lot
when others have it for us:
and so, by love's great symmetry,
we should return, as well,
the time and space it takes, some days,
or years, for things to happen:
to feel the magic, even, when
we sit and wait
