Old Poem, Written Age 19

You lay strewn across my mind

All of you, and
You in pieces

And I

I am now crawling

To get the parts
Of your spirit
Stuck under my furniture

You’re a mess
I’m a disaster

My knees hurt

    1. You have been blessed with a multitude of muses coming and going throughout your life. Lucky, you! 🙂

  1. You are making me want to rummage through old poems of mine and see what I might have written. Great poem. And I agree with Lori, hauntingly beautiful.
