Unmoved to Distant Eyes

The dome that covers us and shields unseen
The majesty we miss preoccupied
How small we are to think ourselves so big
How poor we reach on toes and arches frail

Arraignment in the court of our regard
A process loose and scarcely worth the name
The mountains seem unmoved to distant eyes

Spread out your arms embrace the miracle
That is the you existing only now

Or will you question only what you’re not?
