Off among the mavens,
You went to live and learn;
I followed your excitement,
At every top and turn –

I knew your many-colored heart
In days both gone and dead,
And loved you with a brother’s love,
And pride that went unsaid.

And now the distant thunder
Has brought you back a spell;
You’re grown, but full of anger.
That’s one that I know well —-

Just know, as you seek answers down
Whatever road, or hill,
Your brother still believes in you,
And always
