We long to break the bonds of time —

And for connection, risk our hearts

As weather, time, and light corrodes;

We seek the bridge that takes us there:

We drive and drive,

But grasp

At air

  1. I’m beginning to see your work ethic and how you write so much. i sometimes wish you could/would spend more time developing a poem-like this one- or maybe not. It’s very brevity and dangling end are part of its strength.
