Chaos In The Snow

I see the chaos in the snow:
The footsteps, patternless and free –
The you and me I’ve come to know
But seldom stop to look and see

For love becomes a daily thing,
And things become like other things —
And miracles go unremarked:
Like snowy steps, or
Wedding rings
