She wants someone to sleep with
Who will keep her warm in bed;
Someone who will not run away
Who’ll cling to her instead
Someone whose brightness cheers her
And whose silence solace brings:
Someone who’ll stretch to reach her
And provide a sheltering
Who’s there by her when she her most
Intimate times would share:
Who stays dependably, and always
Brings her comfort there
She used to sit and dream of this
Now she’ll no longer pine:
She knows for everything she wants
A blanket will do fine

She lost hope in the end…
..or found it. Maybe now she can move into greater life less needfully.
That’s me…
