Mouth Drop
In exactly 100 words creatively describe one moment when your mouth dropped open, chin hit the ground, and tears rolled down your face (figuratively or not). If you prefer to develop this into a longer post, that’s fine too!

I met her, and observed her,
and wondered what it would be like
to kiss her
I was just nineteen, and
motivated by December or
by a pure mad desire
I approached her about dinner
and she said
… yes
Dinner and drinks were fine
conversation great
but she was so out of my league
Talented, accomplished, well-travelled
a woman of the world
and I a tiny town college student
…Hopeless.
When we got to
where she lived
I looked over at her beautiful face
And she kissed me
with such passion
My heart opened
into a whole new
league
Fun! For a change! Nice! 😉
“Part II” of this story later today…
Oh, no … is it gonna get sad?
Umm, no… more… umm… not my usual subject. You’ll see.
Pingback: Part II | No Talent For Certainty
No need to develop further. The story is very well told with a little twist at the end.
