He had no love to share, just gifts, 
And so he "practiced presents" -- 
Bestowing such upon those near 
Like royalty to peasants, 

But all of it was emptiness. 
Quite soon, his kingdom tottered: 
For with no love to give, you deal 
In vanity, and water
