kiss the dawn —

kiss the dawn

i flew all night and landed here
so i could kiss the dawn;
the land of green and autumn mist
i happened here upon

and where the angels fear to fly
i go, not needing wings —
i kiss the dawn as she awakes,
now wealthier
than kings

Owen Servant is an online poet working in a style that's been described as "compulsive". In real life, he is an actuary, because being a poet wasn't unpopular enough.
