Original Poems

the field decays…

the field decays
where sits the bus,
for years of days
and weeks of rust
bring on the truth
we have to face,
of ebbing tide
and aging face

but though we know
that time will take
the hearts we love
and all we make,
there’s yet a joy.
a hope, a pride —
for what was good’s
still good

inside
