One Dream Too Many

I’d give my heart up for a song,
I’d trade it in for milk and bread
If I could shake for once and long
This misbelief, this sense of dread

That has me nightly looking down
Some castle’s old embattlements,
With Miss I-Shouldn’t-Be-Around,
For way more time than I have
Sense
