I travelled to an empty land

To share my empty feelings;

I wish that I did half as well

In all my other dealings –

 

In empty land, they listen well,

And it’s the only place I know

The leaders aren’t corrupt

 

But I won’t tell you where it is,

They all will go to empty land

And so it won’t be, long

 

It’s easy to find paradise

We all could fast begin it

If we all could just find a place

That had no people in it

 

But me, I had to turn around.

I didn’t really grieve it —
