Mother and Sons

A mother and her handsome sons,
Out in the park one sunny day;
I eat my sandwich and I watch
Them laughing over cross the way

But there is trouble in the world:
A sickness — a detritus —
When we can’t see the love and hope
That are there to
Unite us
