i run as far as i can run
past everything and anyone
but see the bluescape everywhere
it’s all around and always there

and far horizons that i seek
in bluescape, always wet and bleak
i drive myself to journey on
till daylight, road and hope are gone

the bluescape of my eyes and mind
the planet to which i’m confined
it’s everyplace i try to flee
for bluescape is
inside of me
