all together, they should be
one united family
way more signal, way less noise
cease the clamor that destroys
static down the mountainside
blasting through now city-wide
crackling like sudden fire
biting through the block-and-wire
none among them can now hear
what creates the roar they fear
all they know’s the trap their in
and how fearsome is
the din
Static
