Through Windows – 3

So in love:
We traveled quickly
Through brand new landscapes
Taking in all the pleasures
Drinking in all the moments
Leaving nothing left
For chance to take back.
So in love.

But restless
Stir roaming spirits:
Then memories made
Become old hopes forgotten
In the whirl of the all new.
With 'contented' hearts,
And very true ones,
But restless.

These mistakes
That fly past our eyes
But leave wounds
