mostly unremarkable

the day was mostly unremarkable:
early fall and late to school --
the time was one of prepossession,
thinking was the freeing tool

when she believed that all the sorrow
was a thing to overcome,
and this, her moment in the narrow
space between each vector sum.

the day moved on, and she did, slowly,
slowly towards a destiny
wrought with things beyond conception,
medically or mentally --

and this -- this is the lesson, really:
we are all-our-moments-one --
even when we're bruised and battered
after all remarks

are done
