Landscapes of the Mind – 12

She grew up in a lonely place:
Surrounded by big family
But somehow, she was different, and
She knew it.

The days and years, they piled up:
Her path took her away, and she
Had times the light was blocked, but she
Got through it.

If that is ever truly said;
For honestly, though wounds may heal,
The scars that never left her are
Part of her —

She grew up in a lonely place,
But found a way to bloom
Where people

Love her
