Dreams of Our Forebears – Trains

We will build, and we will move the world:
No more these barriers
Of who can go, and who must stay
In place. With iron will and hands
We’ll cross the distances that were
The cemeteries of our parent’s parents.

Right here, right now, we’ll change all lives:
We’ll be explorers, pioneers,
And all who live will know no limits to
Where they may be tomorrow.

Surely the wonder of our hands
Will take us into futures grand;
Surely this majesty and power
Will last a hundred thousand years.
