windows in your mind

put down your kettle balls and see through windows in your mind;
quit bowing to some future that you fear

do not take in as part of you what you would not have there,
too see, you need not be some kind of seer –

accept the truth, but not the spin;
be taken out, not taken in –
don’t travel to be seen,
but go to see –

and only echo what you know,
not merely what you’re told’s been so:
don’t listen to the you
that’s only me

roll up the mat your lying on and find your destination;
the dim-remembered light your heart has shined –

and see the world for what it is, in all its spinning glory
and horror,
through the windows
in your mind
