The kiss that drives a man to drive,
To seek the shadows and the bane,
Then step into the sunlight stream,
And grasp the loss of what is sane

The desert with its amplitude
Surrounding him with sounding day;
The kiss that drives a man to run
Most anywhere, except
Away
