beneath the mountains luminous,
within a shroud of snow,
out on the brink of wondering,
we once were wont to go.
we lived amid another age,
a time when life was pure,
and there, we knew our happiness;
our lives entwined, secure —
for we lived on the edge of light,
with loving everywhere —
and i would go back now, today,
if only she
were there
