Get With Me

He looked around,
And told her,
This is it:

You do not
Have to show me
Anymore.

The deed was done
In ninety minutes
Time,

She left the keys,
And then walked out
The door.

He looked around,
And thought
I have arrived —

So many doubters
Said I’d
Never see

My work pay off,
And years of dreams
Come true:

Now all the girls
Will wanna get
With me.

He’d seen the movies:
Rich guys get
The girls.

He’d read the stories,
Then done what
He should —

But when they go
For wealth, it’s always
Fiction

He didn’t know that
Yet, but soon,

He would
