Unfold

The world, it now unfolds for us…

The world, it now unfolds for us, and slow

We sit beneath the banner of the sky

In grace and wonder; only you and I –

And maybe lovers, doomed, of long ago

  1. So beautiful! Never expected so short a poem to be so splendid, exquisite and wonderful in every form. I especially liked these lines:
“We sit beneath the banner of the sky
In grace and wonder; only you and I –”
They have so much emotion, so much memory. Good work. Keep on writing 🙂
