I would love to learn more about your fathers instrument making. That’s pretty special! Especially working the bore of the instrument to get the tone color/quality and intonation wanted.
He started as a painter, than became a pilot, then a builder and repairer of musical instruments.
You summarize that so casually. Not too many people build musical instruments especially wind instruments such as the saxophone.
