The choices that I’ve made are strange,
I’m sure you’ve made them, too:
Sometimes, there’s no explaining
What we choose to say and do.
I’ve heard some people say they’ve lived
Their lives without regret;
But that is not the life I’ve lived,
At least, it isn’t yet –
For all of my strange choices show
That I am like most men:
The chance is really good that I’ll
Make more of them, again
I’ve made many choices that I ended up regretting. For some, it really felt like the right decision, yet even I questioned my reasoning behind it after a while. Hopefully we manage to live our lives without any regret in the future! 🙂
I am not very good at that. I’m kind of a random regret generator.
I only regret the things I’ve allowed others do to me…to my life. These days, I’m becoming much better at slapping those people away. Shooing them out of my life like the dirty little flies they are.
That is a useful skill.
