Involuntary Monologue

Hello, conversation partner,
We have problems to discuss:
You and I both know what’s happened,
So, let’s talk. This is for us.

I was hurt by what you did and
I feel like we’ve lost our way:
I just need to know your feelings,
Where your head is at today…

Now I’m done, but you’re not talking,
It’s just like you haven’t heard,
Or don’t care. But there’s no knowing
For you will not say
A word
