The Things I’m Certain Of

How can I have a world-view, I
Have never seen the world –
Although, I’ve traveled,
Far, and wide, and long —

I know too much of math to think
That science “knows it all” —
Though ignorance is
Still more often wrong

The things I’m certain of are few,
I have no talent, there:
I’ve just my observations,
Which are scant —

That hearts can die from loneliness;
That hate can choke like weeds –
And some will shout their answers, but
I can’t
