Told me it was a nightmare;
She might be stretching things just a bit.

I doubt that the clown was there; and
Nobody had a chainsaw –
It’s really kind of ridiculous, to
Bend the truth that way.

But people will the tales they tell.
Now, I have to go the dentist, as well:
And just in case there’s any clowns around,
I’ll keep pepper spray ‘neath the dental gown
