[Lessons learned from watching a cat. – Owen]
The only trees we ever know
Are those we dare to climb;
For only the ridiculous
Keep us from the sublime
‘Adventuring’ – it’s who are –
But we do not recall;
The tree sits fallow in the yard,
Though beautiful in fall
The only trees we truly love
Are those we’ve really known:
So look and climb and touch and taste
And make your life
Your own
