They’re only small a while, and then
They’re tall enough to see —
One day soon, they’ve outgrown us: but,
That’s how it’s meant to be
I still now can remember her
Who for a boost would plea —
But she walks by in silence, now;
She has no use
For me
My kids are all taller than me and taller than their Dad … and time flies too fast, ain’t it?
But I have a nearly 2 years old son – he is still small for now. And I am enjoying this time before he too, grows taller and older … 😉
