Life is hard for everyone.
Look at those around you:
If you think their life’s not hard,
It just might astound you

If you knew what lay behind
Their serene veneer —
Worries, troubles, griefs and woes
May not soon appear

To us, while our eyes turn inward.
So I hope this blog
Helps to clear away a little
Empathetic fog

That beclouds our judgement – people
Have fears, but won’t show them:
If we think their life is perfect,
We don’t really
Know them
