She loves to run, a feeling I
Relate to not a bit:
To me, it would be torture
But she loves, well, all of it
The freedom and the movement
And the power that she feels:
She also says, she likes the way
Her legs look now in heels
It’s very strange to me, but then
We all have different powers:
And people will insist on having
Different likes
Than ours
Good for her.
I hate running, if I have to keep up and make a time and do it to look better. But if I can just feel the wind in my hair or not worry about time or how I look – if I can remember the feeling of running to my Granddaddy – then it’s an amazing thing.
