Popcorn Maker

Question : Of all the technologies that have gone extinct in your lifetime, which one do you miss the most?

= = = = =

I’d love to have a popcorn popper
Like we used to have;
I’d smell the popcorn cooking just as
I got in the bath

And knew when I got out that it
Would not yet be cold;
A bowl for each to have while we
Bantered and cajoled

Each other at the table. With
Some root beer or what all;
My dad would always make it, and
We’d usually have a ball.

They still may make them somewhere;
I could go, and shop, and buy.
And we would get it in the mail,
And I would surely try

To do the things my father did.
And I may have the knack:
But those old days are gone
And they are
Never
Coming
Back
